92 gt summer edition?

can anyone find any information on a 92 gt summer edition??? i can only find it as an lx model but itd definitly not because of the vin number

Welcome to NYM! :) ...I never heard of a "GT Summer Edition" in 1992 or any other year with the GT...Ford did offer a Limited Edition LX Red w/white pony wheels (RagTop) in 1992 and the Yellow (Chrome Pony's) & Wlite (White Pony's) LX RagTop's in 1993...Any pics of your ride?

ok the only thing is i have they original sticker for the car for when the guy i bought it from and it says gt summer edition and the ones ive seen dont have the same color scheme they have the white leather interior but with black trim on the dash mine has red i cant figure it out or find it anywhere at all

It is possible that someone put the red piping in the dash to match the exterior of your car. If you are talking about the Window Sticker and it says Summer Edition then thats probably what you have.

Welcome, nice GT you have there...the only special editions I can think of for the 87-93s are like what Tim said, but they were LX's, not GT's. Anyways, welcome again!

Welcome to NYM. I remember Ford did some special models back then & IIRC they were all Verts. Red, Green, White, & Yellow w/white top & interior & wheels.

i dont think its possible someone put the red piping in the dash because the guy i bought it from was a 70 yr old guy and he bought the car brand new in 92 and the only thing he did was put the kenne bell supercharger in it and lowered it and those rims he gave me reciepts for everything and everything was put onto the carfax he said thats how he got the car im all confused

lol all he did was supercharge it? ...... lol thats not an only but idono if he supercharged it and lowered it and rims, whats to say he didnt do the piping...... show us a picture of it it sounds unique, and welcome to the site man

thats all original theres no way that was done too extensive and the guy told me thats how he bought it ive seen pictures of him when he first bought it right on the lot
