lookin for a used 8.8 for my car .i hear these things hold up well and close to the width my car requires " YES A little ford to help chevy go " that bein said i need a posi one preferably with a 3..4x gearing to a 3.7x gearing or so let me know what ya got

from what i read the sn95,s seam to do it or the explorer set ups in the newer vintage while they were still solid rear ends . the one above ya posted is nice but more than i need at this time lololol im really lookin for a pullout seein as i gotta do a lot of fabin to get it in my car and for that much i ould be 90% oof the way into a bolt in 9in

Why dont you just buy a 9in all ready made for your car? In the long run you be better off dont you think? If I was you, I'd save my money to do so... Im not saying an 8.8 isnt strong but a 9in is alot better and its a bolt in. If your looking for a 9in bolt in go to www.yellowbullet.com lots of drag racers sell lots of parts.. You'll find something. Remember you want to play you'll have to pay...good luck...

Ranger's with the Level 2 FX4 have 4.10 and a Torsen Limited Slip, probably hard to find though. Explorers usually have 3.55, 3.73 were optional as was limited slip. The ones with towing packages usually have a 3.73 rear and limited slip, you can tell by the larger receiver hitch, OR check the door tag for the axle code. Good luck, should be able to find one. Check www.car-parts.com

I have one from a 2004 Mach 1 3.55 gears stock, not quite 50,000 on it.

I have a 94 rear housing. Has all the brake components. But no axels or carrier. You can build this how ever you want. If your interested let me know. I have it in the for sale section and I think I had pics with it also
