71 to 73

Ide like to find a 71 to 73 grande hardtop, just for a cruiser car 6 or 8cyl..Whats the going price for a driver car...20 footer.All stock, even the hubcaps...

It sounds like a cool idea. From what I see I'd say in the $1500-$5k range.I've seen some decent looking ones around $3500, unfortunately they are very sporadic,I don't see many 71-73's anymore and when I do they are usually fastbacks and verts. One of my many car regrets was not buying a 72 Grande.I remember I was in college and I had just bought a beater 73 Capri for $50. Anyhow I go to this shop upstate with a friend and they had a gorgeous 68 Cobra Jet they were working on,out front they had this Grande,it was about a 20 footer, 302 ,auto,A/C,Disc brakes,ran really well. $250. That would have been a great driver. Anyhow Good luck on your search. I'll keep my eyes open for you,if you'd like?

I see on ebay maybe 2 that havnt been touched...A 6 would be preferable w/the way gas is going up.Nice ones are far and few between, or too far away.Ide taka beater if the body wasnt totally blown out.Im in no hurry.thanx for lookin for me..

Could always get a wrecked fox and drop in the injected 5.0/AOD combo! get nearly the same gas as the 250ci six

I know it's not a 71-73 or A Grande. But I feel you should take a roadtrip to look at this. Pending a quickie inspection if this car isn't completely rotted out underneath,This is a screaming buy. If he's at all negotiable even if it has some rot, I still think it might be worth it. 70 v8 fastback with A/C = A great daily driver.

This car is more for the wife than me. Yup that looked like a pretty good deal, I saw a 72 302 for 1700 on craigs list its in glenville.I may check it out.Im in no hurry.Shes more into original cars.And im gonna sell a few little things i have before i buy..

That '70 looks pretty good. I don't see any rot on the shock towers which could indicate not too much elsewhere. Looks like aftermarket a/c but don't see any sign of it inside the car.
