im swapping the c4 out of my 1980 mustang and swapping in a 5 speed t5 what will i need (parts wise) to get it running as quickly as possible (trying to make the cruise on the 25th)
the trans comes with a fly and clutch but the drive shaft is different? andpedals are ebay item but is that all i will need for clutch to work the cable and quadrent?
No they dont.
My car had an aod and now has a t5 and I used the same driveshaft.
Just the U joints are different but only in terms of strength. I found out when buying U joints when my car had an aod that the aod U joints didnt fit my aluminum driveshaft because it uses 5 speed u joints.
