5.0 available in Albany, NY

For those folks around the Albany, NY area, there is a Black 5.0 with the wheel and rear gear packages selling for $35,000 and changes sitting at Orange Ford on Central Ave. in Albany, NY.

I stopped by to take a look and I can say that it was a very nice looking vehicle
The salesman was pushing hard to get me to trade in my 08 Bullitt, however, I'm just not ready to make the change.

still, WAY overpriced. what ever happened to an affordable ponycar? and most people wont ponyup 35k (optioned verts over 40k....) for a summer car. looks like target audience went from 20-30s to 40-50's.

I found my pony for the perfect price of 650$ lol! The kid wanted 1200, then i got him down to 800, and then i got him down to 650... but then i found out that i sort of got jipped.. Owell, it sure has potential lol.

You are right about prices going up sharply, however, look at what is being asked for used vehicles. An 2000 Mustang in good condition with around 90,000 is selling for $8,000 to $10,000, that is if you can find one. Keep in mind that is a 10 year old car. Also, look at the list price of the Genesis Coup, AKA GenCrap, $32,000 for a 6cyl. Yep, car prices are up there but at least you know your Mustang will be around a while.

I got news for you guys...a GT Premium with auto trans STARTS at $34,690. With sales tax, you're already at $38k, and that combo will probably be the most popular. Since they are very hard to find at this time, there will be little if any discounts on anything in stock. After summer time, it might get a little better.
