2nd Annual Letchworth State Park 7/18/10

So, the date has been set. Guys from Rochester will be meeting up at the Cracker Barrel on Hylan Dr. at 8:30am to LEAVE by 9:30am to get to Batavia at the old Jubilee parking lot (45 ELLICOTT ST. BATAVIA NY 14020) at about 10am, and leave from there straight to the park. When the time is right. I think that put us all meeting at the dam at the north end of the park by 11am ish. You can count me in, i was planning on going to Syracuse, but i think this will be more fun and its a way to meet all the local guys and gals, are we still bringing something to pass?

The Buffalo crew is going to do what we did last year. We will be meeting at the Bowen Road Shelter and leaving at 9:00 am heading to Batavia. I have no idea how many people are going. Like last year it is weather dependant. We lost 3 of our cruisers to other commitments. We will see how it goes. We may have a contingent coming from Byron. They are planning on meeting us at the Jubilee in Batavia. Not knowing how many people are showing up, it may be a good idea on forgetting about a dish to pass. Bring your own food and refreshments. Is anyone bringing charcoal or starter fluid? Maybe we should plan on having everyone cook their own food on the grill. Just a suggestion. It is only a week away!!!!

I plan on attending and I am bringing a big bottle of charcoal lighter. Take that off your list Siverspy0. We are really looking forward to it. Even though it rained last year, it still turned out to be a great time. I never know how many people will show up for our weekly cruises. We get anywhere form 2 to 30 Mustangers. If it is a nice day like today we should have a great turnout. Let's hope for great weather.

Keep tellin people! I might get my friend with her clean yellow '02 V6 to come out, that would be one more! I will try to bring as much as I can that people might not think of (garbage bags, etc.), but these Mustangs aren't exactly spacious.

Bring want you want to eat and drink and a little something extra if you wish. I'm sure we're going to have plenty of everything. Last year we all put our extras on a community table for everyone to enjoy. If you happen to be a lone Mustanger, no problem, help yourself to the eats on the community table. Remember, this is about the Mustangs not about the food or drinks.....LOL!

Sunday's weather forecast (for what it's worth) looks to be a beautiful sunny day.

If anyone is interested, Empire Dragway is open on Sunday's. It's about 10-15 minutes away in the Town of Leicester and they have Test and Tune from noon until 5 for $13. It's a great experience to take your car down a 1/4 mile drag strip to see what it can do...... or not do.....LOL!

So, who wants to go?

Wasnt ot sure on the food thing first time coming. I thought it was like a potluck. so bring what you eat works for me it makes it easier. As for the track my wife would kill me if i was out all day my car would probably turn into a pumpkin.

Oh yeah, good point. I got caught up in being so close to the track I forgot about the wife.

Maybe this isn't such a good idea afterall.

Oh well, maybe some of the single guys can take advantage of the proximity to the track.
