2011 Mustang Rally Finger Lakes

Had a great time this weekend!! I must say that this has been the best mustang oriented weekend I have ever had! For all of you that couldn't make it or just didn't go, you have missed an AWESOME time!!! Watkins Glen alone was well worth the trip, being able to go as fast you want for a few laps for 25 bucks, I would do that every damn day, lol. Just need to invest in some new brakes, started smelling them after the first lap. 
Some of the guys in the Roushes got over 100 and one of them got to 120, being able to stop with those big brakes definitely helps.
It was great meeting you western peeps out there! It was nice to see a few nym members take home a few trophies!
They were calling for rain today, and we did get some but even Dave (1988 Pony) made it out with his fox with the slicks, skinnies, one wiper, and an finicky fan. Hope you get that fixed soon man. And Dawn and Alex it was a really good time hanging out with both of you, we may have been the weirdos at the hotel, but after seeing the drunkards and people yelling, I think we're alright!
Dan (Ironhorse) I tip my hat off to you and your group for putting on a great weekend. Very much improved this year and went well in my opinion. It would be nice if we can get some more stangs to come out next year to see your hard work pay off!

What an awesome Rally!! Great job Dan and the MRFL committee!! So many improvements were made this year and every detail was planned and went smooth. I know it is a lot work coordinating all this and you guys did a great job! We had about 80 cars at the show which I thought was great for a rainy day. The track was a blast! 
(even though I was a bit of a noob trying to keep up!) It seemed like you guys were flying! Alex & Josh..really great time hanging with you guys and so glad you went out there with me. I hope more Central NY will get out next year! It is so worth it.

It was great meeting everyone today, wish i could have stayed, i didnt mean to run out before the show ended, the fan died on me completely, we had to get on i90 and cruise home quick so it didnt over heat, congrats on the win Dawn and everyone else that won trophies, i will be there next year for sure, hopefully with a car that is running like it should :idk:
