hey, my name is steve and i have a 2001 Cobra convertable black on black. car currently has a rod knock and second and third gear syncros are gone. i bought the car this way with the intent to fix it and drive it. its got 76,000 miles on it. im looking into eaither swapping a 03/04 motor and trans or doing the MMR 5.0 stroker short block and rebuilding my trans. i work at a ford dealer so i can get some parts at discount but not a big fan of putting factory parts in a car thats gonna make some serious power when im done. im looking forward to meeting new people that are in the new york area. summers coming and i gotta get the beast up and running soon. cheers to all and once again looking forward to meeting new people!:headbang:

Ford makes one hell-of-a Coyote conversion. If you can get a discound in the parts its a no brainer. You but the whole kit right from ford racing. Harness, computer, mounts, bell housing .... I wish i had the money i would do that to my 92GT!

thanks everyone. im from congers incase anyone is in the area. i saw one person post up there from nanuet. im usually always in the area except for when im at work but im interested in checking some peoples cars out seeing what they have and how they ride. id offer some rides but the cobra's off the road for a little while.
