Thanks dude, it will take some time. I will be happy with primer until I get everything matching. There is definitely it's share of rust. I'm going to replace the bottom of the radiator support, patch down by the kick panels, fix the quarters, and the spare tire tub. The jack ass who had it before me put a get spoiler on it and never filled the holes fo the water just ran in and wrecked the whole "trunk" area. I would love to go out a buy a rust free roller, but at 16 I'm happy with what I have.:)

Here we go.....

First, I dropped the tank since sparks an gas don't work.



Here is the "before"




From underneath...





Here's the "after" for now...at least until I weld in the patches.








I'm still finishing up trimming out the fronts of the floor pans.






And here's some random other ones....





Tomorrow's project....





I hope to have the floor welded up some time this week/next weekend. Then I'm going to put POR-15 all over it, and then the interior goes back in.:):)

Thanks Jared! it's never going to be a show car, but my plan is this....

1) Make it looks decest and fix the holes
2) find a 5.0 and T5 and put that in it
3) Dial in the 5,0 and get it running smooth
4) down the road, find a clean original 4 cyl car, swap the motors, and then use this as a DD:awesomework:

Well, due to the lack of a welder, I'm just riveting patchs in on spots that aren't structural. The good news is that non of the bad spots are structural, but here is what I got done last night...





Then I was working on bending all new brake ines, but to get to the ones on the passanger side, I had to move some wires and vacuum lines out of the way, then for some reason I started tucking wires. lol I guess I just want it to look somewhat clean, even though it's a 2.3.



Damn, look at all that room...

Oh, and that black is POR-15, one of the greatest paint inventions. I'm going to do the whole floor and then underside. It dries incredibly hard, but a quart is about $40.

No kidding, I have been very lazy. LOL I'm going to get a little done, but then I have to pull the 95 in since we're supposed to get some crap weather.

Thanks Matt. Well, not too much going one until the weekend. I had to organize some parts, move the snow blower out and get it ready, and then put the 95 in. Once this crap weather we are supposed to get breaks, I can move the black GT out and get some more stuff done. I'm going to be getting some parts, not nessicarly "new", but new to me, but I'm keeping them a screte until I get them....since I know how NYM likes secrets.:)
