1990 5.0 HO engine COMPLETE with acces., tb, headers,etc!

I have a complete 5.0 motor from a '90 GT parts car I had. It is 100% stock and complete. I took it out with all the wiring still on it, motor mounts, all accessories, stock heads, I even have the stock MAF and inlet hose! This motor was NEVER abused and still has the OEM plug wires on it with the 1990 date stamp. It is a little dirty but I have a video of it running in my parts car. It still had the original clutch even!!!!! I have that if someone wants that too LOL. $600 b/o WAY cheaper than a rebuild...perfect for a swap...

115k if I remember correctly I will have to look through the pics of the gauge cluster before I sold it. I was going to save it for a spare for my car but I need the $$. Like most it could use a new oil pan probably and a rear main seal..all of which is easy. I have a new pan, gasket and oil pump I'd toss in for extra. I have tons of parts laying around I need to go through them all.

It ran STRONG, just as good as my 30k mile 5.0's actually. But it was never modded or beat on either.

Thanks...I was going to just clean it up and make it look like new and have it as a nice garage decoration LOL. But I could use $$ right now.

$500 less the EFI stuff, no a huge drop but I am lacking the time to mess with it..prefer to leave it as is...

Im interested in buying it... but will it be able to hold boost? i plan on TTing it and doing forged internals. i dont want it to blow

I will tell you right now, if you want to boost the hell out of a motor don't waste the time in doing forged internal on a stock 5.0 block. You WILL split it eventually. If you have the $$ get a BOSS, Dart, or older R302 block an do it right.

With a stock block, there is no point in replacing the rotating assembly if boosting it. The stock forged rods/pistons will outlast the block itself. It takes a good tune to make one last at high HP levels.
