ok......so.......after a loooonnnnggg debate and decision making sessions; plus with the lack of decision making abilities of sstarbrat (another story) , Here it is !!!!!!
We have decided to not sell the Mach 1. Here is the engine I have been keeping a secret for it !!!
It is a .020 over 5.4 Liter FULLY FORGED shortblock. C/R should land right between 8.5 - 9.0 -1 with the head gaskets I have for it. The heads are 5.4 Fully Ported Navigator heads. They have all new valves, springs, seals, lash adjusters, followers, etc etc.... The cams are Comp Cams .500 lift Blower Cams. I have misc. parts for the 8-rib set-up, Fidanza Flywheel, ARP Hardware, Weapon X cop's, Accel COP's(for sale) New Valve covers etc etc etc..........
There are a bunch of other misc. stuff I have ready for it too. Fuel system, tranny, you get the point. So here is the plan.........
Put it all together, throw 25-30 pounds of twin-turbo boost at it and try for the 1,000 RWHP mark. If I make it, great, if not, I won't be crying about it, because it will still be a bad ass car.
So......With all this said, befor the pics, As many of you know, I still have the Cobra Fox Project to finish. Well, yes I will put the car together, but then it will be up for sale. I will not be changing any kind of interior or cosmetic item. The new owner can style the car as they see fit. I will simply clean it, and assemble it to 100% mechanical condition. I won't even weld any subframes in due to the fact that the car it is all going into is sooooooo clean and original, I will leave the "how far to go" decision to the new owner.
