I no I have my eye on 3 now. 1 With a brand new drive train and good body for $15,000. but dont want to spend that much. 1 for $6,000 I might get and a pretty good one for around $10,000

If the one for $6000 is running,driving and not too rotted out,You might want to grab it.It probably won't last long at that price.If you find something better down the road you could sell it with ease probably for more than you paid. Good luck

They're so hard to find because companies like Unique Performance and what ever the new one is bought them up to make GT500E clones.:nono:

Yeah, I might, I just want to do a good search before I jump. about 5 years ago I bought a 1969 Camaro 350 4 spd body rough but ran a drove for $2,200 needed money a year later, never touched the car listed it on ebay and it sold for $9,700. so it pays to shop around.. there was a 67 GT fastback at the syracuse nats for sale for $11,500 or best solid car that ran 351 4spd and I lost the number, lol

My cousin has a 68 done in yellow that he's been trying to sell for a while. I can't tell you all thats been done, but he's done a ridiculous amount of work on it and it is sweet! Needs a little finish work and its ready to go. DONT quote me on this, but I think he wants 8500 and that comes with TONS of extras, Including the original drivetrain. PM me if interested and I'll give you his number.

I bought mine on ebay...for 6600...the engine wasnt installed and it still needs fixing up....but only two half dollar sizes of rust on the whole car. Been in a garage for the last 12 years...and its been a southern car its whole life. Guy had a rusted 67 coupe that he let me pull whatever parts off it I wanted.....and also gave me an extra engine and transmission. The car was nice in its day....Nightmist Blue S Code....BIG 390. Good luck on your search.

Cool, Thats what Im looking for. I dont even care if it has a motor or trans, I have a few extra anyway. Nice find. Im sure something will turn up.

I got one!!!! And boy did I luck out. looks like it still has the factory paint on it. It has PS, PB and Air! The frame, floors and body is all solid. the guy was still useing it for a daily driver! I mean the car needs work but its turn key drive!

Thanks. I will keep all the original parts but It will be more of a resto mod. Mustang II front end to get them shock towers out of the way to make room for a 4.6 4v or something like that..
