Tommy's nasty Factory Stock coupe, with a record for NA GT40 heads.These are 100% unported and stock valve sizes. Cam is a custom .480 lift Factory Stock cam. He was launching at 6500+ iirc

He also ran it with the unported Cobra intake and got a 10.58, thats the last vid.

Haha, not that simple but basically. The car is light, around 2800lbs with driver. It still has the stock k-member though and of course a cage. The engine is built up, and no expenses spared on getting the combo 100%. Around 10.5:1 compression and the cam can have as much duration as you want just has to have no more than .480 lift. You have to run stock lifters as well, but I think they modify them. Here is what he said in Corral.net
My combo for this race was.
2760lbs , Factory stock long block w/ unported GT40 cast iron heads, I ran 1 pass with my Factory Stock Cobra intake. I ran an electric water pump, removed the alternator and p/s pump for this race but still p/s rack and stock front k member,a arms and no coil over springs, same set up as factory stock. I was able to run my anti roll bar so I removed the tailpipes. Runs were made on M/T 26x10x15S slicks. Best pass was 10.409 @ 128.70 mph. Best 60ft of the weekend was a 1.355 and best 1/8 was a 6.59 @ 102.8

The heads have custom stainless valve ( but they are stock size ) and a custom RGR Valve job. No porting or bowl work or anything extra. The cobra intake is untouched and netted the 10.58 pass. I could have gone a little quicker with the cobra but only a few hundreths. The cam is an RGR spec Factory Stock hydrualic roller .480 lift

LOL, I like the GT40 and the GT40P. I had some GT40P but sold them because I got a steal on the Edelbrocks I have. I ran regular GT40's on my 93 GT. This is a smoking deal, not sure on shipping though. Add a stock HO cam and it would be great. OR add valve springs and then use a larger cam.

Wow, that is a good deal...looks pretty clean too! That's a strange looking header on thew passenger side. lol

My bro inlaw totalled my sisters 5.0 Mountaineer and left it go back to Ins. company. I could have bought the WHOLE thing for $600!!!!:mad: I was PISSED. It has a ton of new parts and still ran/drove its just it got alot of under carriage damage.

The headers are really funky!!! They have quite a few of them, but there are no motors up here that clean!!! LOL Thats a southern motor for sure!!

The E cam is ok, it's just there are better ones out there. My cousin has a 90 GT with heads, intake, and E303 and it runs strong. I tuned it so it would have better driveability because below 2000 it was not the best. I just prefer other cams, but it does sound good and makes decent power up top. I just think the bottom end is weak with it.

Is it true that the Ford Racing cams are for EFI cars?

i already have a cam 24# injecters cobra upper and lower pulley kit cold air upgraded mass air headers h pipe aluminum drive shaft all i need is heads lol what kind of power am i looking at with gt40 heads and a nice tune
