The new heater core is in!! The heater lines and accumulator are hooked up, I'm gonna hook up the hvac controls and fire it up to see if the heat works. Then I'll probably have to stop do my homework that is due. :mad: LOL.
Alright, I got the two nuts off of each side of the accumulator. The black nut (in the second picture) is loosened up so it can come off. But the line is still connected, how does it come off? It looks like some kind of connector, but it doesn't turn or anything. Any ideas on how to disconnect...
I got the dash out now. How many screws are holding the heater case to the firewall in the inside of the car? I got the one that is just above the carpet. In the engine compartment, the heater hose clamps are loosened up and the nuts of the bolts holding the evaporator case to the firewall are...
Well, if I could just get those damn switch connectors, and dash cluster connections off, I could take the friggin dash out. Everything else is done but I'm having problems with the connectors, I don't want to break them, but they're on good.
