The weather was mild in the low 50's today so after work I continued with my winter project of reconditioning the interior hard parts. L/S pic is the under dash lights after a little work with the wire wheel to get rid if years of corrosion, & the R/S pic are the dash end caps, lower steering...

Why would you do that on a highway, VERY stupid. If you have to do that go to an empty parking lot. Very very stupid, I cant say it enough.:nono::thumbsdown:

I checked a couple of the major mustang parts suppliers & they both offer carpet made by a co called ACC.

Here is a pic of the lower metl dash after I tried sand blasting it. I will try using paint stripper but that will have to wait for a bit since it will only be in the low 20's for the next few days. Malcolm thanks for the offer on the GT wheel for my spare, that would be great if you have one. Mike.

Hi Joe, Your Mustang looks great. Yours is the color mine was. Did your come with disc brakes or did you add them?. I am planning to add power disc brakes to mine after I am done with the sheet metal work, hopefully by the fall. I like the steering wheel you added what make is it?.

A GT is still cool. I had a "j" code GT many years ago ( back in the 80's). What is the engine code (the 5th digit) for your GT?

The lower metal dash is out & all stripped down to hopefully be sandblasted this weekend so I can repeint it. Once it stops raining I will take a pic.

Welcome to NYM. As ponyboy suggested & I did in your other post check the VIN #'s one is on the VIN plate that is riveted to the dash that can be seen through the front windshield I believe on the drivers side & check that it matches the one stamped into the top of the inner fender panel. Also...
