Now that I have the r/s front inner fender panel out there is more rot there on the front upper shock tower flange. I already cut a piece of metal to make a patch for that area.
Finished drilling out the spot welds & removed the r/s front inner fender panel. Where the panel meets the radiator support it was only welded half way. :confused: What's up with that. I guess that is what happens with a car that was built on a Friday.
Nothing really picture worthy. Sanded off the old paint on the radiator support & the r/s inner fender panel looking for spot welds & started drilling them. Fun stuff.
Today I finished removing the nose (except for the hood) off the Coupe so I could start replacing the front inner fender panels & the radiator support.
Find a good one, then you can use the Mustang in the nice weather & use the Focus when the weather gets snowy. Congrats on the new ride, at least it is a Ford.
The work I get done will be minimal since I have only a 1 car garage & it shares space with my woodworking machines so most of the work needs to be done outside. Is it Spring time yet?.:(
