I wouldn't worry about getting the 24s until you put some good cylinder heads on it. You should upgrade the fuel pump though since they don't flow very much stock. I would put a 255 lph one in just in case you decide to put some forced induction on it, they all run about the same in price...

Very true. Everybody is worried about making the power instead of making it all hook up and go. Spinning isn't winning. Oh and I'm pretty sure any stock block 5oh making 600hp is living on borrowed time, so a new short block will be in order, lol.

By the time you upgraded the springs in the gt40ps and cleaned them up and what not, you might be better off just saving your money and getting the afr 165s or the trickflow TW 170s... Trickflows are a little cheaper and are just as good, if not better than the afrs. It depends what headers you...
