I found out last year that the explorer gt40 and the mustang one are a little different. Nothing major, but when I added a kenne bell supercharger to the 95, it had to be a mustang gt40. Turns out that the intake holes are 1/4" further back than the mustang and would cause all sorts of alignment...

Need more info. What is the voltage at the battery at idle? How is the stereo hooked up (are there capacitors, how many amps, etc..) Do the headlights dim when the stereo or any high draw (a/c, defrost etc...) are on. You are local to me. if need be I will look at it. I like electrical work...
