I had one and thats what the guy before me did, he took the 4cyl Turbo out and stuck a 302 and new trans in it. Mine had all the writing on the sides and hood, I thought it was a bit much. Yours looks good and it would be a great project for someone, good luck...

EDIT Ok here's what I found out... I removed the old pump and changed the filters (they were absolutely spotless). I grab the new pump I picked up this morning and popped the plastic caps off and SOB it's a different size INLET (the new pump's inlet is 10AN my old pump 12AN) I wasted another...
