if your going to go the s/c route (i recommend over juice in a street car) I would keep the CR (compression Ratio) more like 8.5 -1. If you build it with good parts and pt some nice heads on it you will be ready for a good s/c. I have bseen adapters online to bolt the stock eatons to your car...

If you plan to do a 5sp swap next winter just leave the stock converter in it. Flush the transmission good and put a shift kit in it for the season. the shift kit will be much more useful than the tq converter. Wth the power your making you wont need much more. When you hit the 475 - 500 RWHP...

the 4r70w is an AODe with electronic overdrive. That transmission is Fords weakest link. I had one in my 94 and I hated it!! I had the entire transmissoin built to the max, manual valve body, full shift kit, and a 3200 stall. I wish I never wasted the $ on it to be honest. Is it out of the...
