The multi-function sitchs go bad all the time. simple fix just to torx screws under the coulm trim g/l

Do you have a vaccuum leak? Is the map sensor ok?

Don't forget about the rear. The 7.5 won't hold up to much abuse. I see one on Albany craigslist. wants to trade but who knows? Good luck on your project. I'm thinking of the same with my 95 3.8 with the 408 i'm building.
