The 355 gears are in and the stock 273's are out... Very noticeable difference when wot !!

Bought a set of brand new ford 355 gears for my 8.8" rear on my 91 lx with AOD. Right now I'm running stock .just wondering if the 355's are good with my current setup. Everyday driver !! Anyone like these gears or can tell me if a noticeable difference will happen? Thanks again

This kit has everything in it but I don't see bearings .. Guess they are separate?? Only paid 100 for the brand new kit from mustangs unlimited , the bearings don't have to be different cause my gears are different right? Just guessing I buy new stock bearings ??

I just checked my gear kit and the speedo is in there so maybe he will do it too ... I'm ordering a new instrument cluster too ... Screw it might as well

He said he will drain and clean everything including bearings but never said speedo... Mines broke anyways just bounces around lol

This kit is awsome and installed in like 30 minutes..87-93 Ford Mustang 3G Alternator Kit 130 AMP small case from ebay the seller is romeo_electrical .. .it came with evrything you need and you wont have to goto the store to try and find pieces it was all complete.I got the chrome one!!

I installed a taurus fan which is huge and just stuck the overflow tank where it was.Since the mounts were no loger there I just put 2 long srews through the side tab of the overflow right into the fan shroud..of course dont forget the flexalit contollable fan switch..works great

Mine did that too but only upon acceleration.I cleaned the egr and it fixed it,then I did the egr delete and it went away for ever!!
