tips are longer on newer ones due to the bumper- I have 97 over the axle pipes on my 02, and the tips barely reach the bumper.

Hangers near the tip have a 90* difference. Also I found that the 99-04 kits are a little longer

Really depends what you want out of it. But a good start would be a dual exhaust system, tune, and a cold air kit.
