Hey joe its marc you did my vortech on the 07 mustang gt last week, Let me ask was there supposed to be a heat shield that came with my kit, because all the ones im looking at on others rides have a heat shield installed and mine didnt?

I would have but didnt have an extra 700.00

I needed it to show one of the guys from diablosport to see if they could fix it up a little so it wouldnt be so rich

they gave me the printout that shows the graph of the air fuel ratio

Its a basic vortech v3 kit non intercooled, no other mods besides what came with it. Its a centri charger so i believe its 8 or 9lbs of boost at the peak.

Hey you guys just installed the vortech on my 07 white gt, i was wondering did you guys datalog the dyno run with a wideband o2 sensor? if so i have a diablosport guy that can help fix my air/fuel ratio.

not sure if they datalogged it i dont believe so because they use sct software. i know it was done on a dynojet.

Well got the car back today, Not exactly what i thought it was going to be like. Here is a result of my dyno that they did with the diablosport tune which they say is running really rich. Max Power= 377.88 Max Torque= 429.75 Conditions were 69.08 degrees Humidity 38%

Anyone out there using a oil catch can with there superchargers? if so any pics of them installed so i can see where and how to mount one ?

It seems you have to by one of the tci transmissions rated for more hp, or one of the other companys trannys out there.

just something i found interesting, i contacted a company i found from the shelby magazine that actually build gt's into serial numbered shelby's with superchargers , suspension upgrades and the like, they are companys that are with ford and licensed to give these cars serial numbers and...
