Well just for kicks I went to the 1/8th mile nationals at New york International Raceway Park and the old GT seems pretty consistent. I ran 2 time trials and ran a 9.15 and a 9.24

Anywhere in the Lake Placid area is a terrific road trip, personally I come up rt 30 north thru the adirondacks to Tupper Lake, rt3 -saranac lake, Rt#86 right to Placid. Coming from the west I return travelling over Rt#3 to watertown and there you are out of the Adirondal Park and start picking...

I stand corrected but........ zipperhead is STILL the fastest with a 7.82 followed by noclutch with a 8.62 and redcammer with a 9.13 Zipperhead is the man to beat!!!:rock:

It appears "ZIPPERHEAD" is the fastest 1/8th mile racer with a 7.02 if I read his timeslip right. #1. Zipperhead 7.02 very quick #2. no clutch...

Or it's 89 mph???

first time out I was pleasantly surprised!! 1st tt.....9.7 2nd tt.....9.3 1st elimination, dialed in 9.25 and broke out with 9.13 the 60 ft. times were hilarious as I'm still running the allseason radials it came with!

hard to believe anyone walked away from that!!
