    Trac Lock rebuild..

Hey, Sorry for the slow response. During the spring the shop gets so busy sometimes we don't have the time to check the forums as much as we'd like to. Your best bet is to call the shop at 631-563-7325 to discuss specific details and options, such as standard or carbof fiber clutch packs...

    Tire question. NT555R daily driver?

I ran 555R's all year round though some hellish rainstorms and I loved them so much I bought two more sets as the wore out though the years. But here's the big difference: That was in Florida. The warm temperatures kept the rubber soft and sticky all the time. Here in New York they aren't...

    Real bouncy, any suggestions?

1.6/2.0 inch drop is asking for trouble. I never recommend going that low on a Mustang. It is probably sitting on the rear bumpstops (among other problems).

    Service Engine Light

If they are the original spark plugs you should definately change them. (I know you are not the original owner so you may not know if they are original) If you don't want to have to change the plugs again for at least 50,000 miles you should install motorcraft platnum plugs. If you want to...

    Rear suspension clunking when cold?

At least half the axle back and cat back kits we see have hangars that are too long or in the wrong place. A lot of times we have to trim the hangar rods or they will clunk. Sometimes the clunk or rattle only happens when the car is cold. not hot, or vice versa. The whole exhaust expands...

    Half your problem right there.

    Rear End Noise

Did you do a fluid change recently? I can't play the video but from the way you describe it, it sounds like there was not enough friction-modifier added to the gear lube.

    Supercharger help needed

I've installed and tuned Vortech, Paxton, Procharger, Roush, Saleen, Kenne Bell, Edelbrock and Whipple superchargers on 05-09 Mustang GTs. All of them will get the job done. My personal preferences are the Vortech and the Whipple. Some work better than others right "out-of-the-box," but...

Welcome. Don't worry its not an 04. You still got a lot of premium parts with the Cobra (like the big brakes any better cylinder heads :awesomework:) and there are plenty of upgrade parts out there too.

    Oil pump...

Is that 70 psi? You wrote "7 opsi" 70 is good. Once the engine oil warms up (it takes longer to warm the oil than the coolant) the pressure will drop down, probably to somewhere between 20 and 35 at idle with hot oil. The pressure will rise rapidly with engine rpm and settle down again when...

    Oil pump...

No, just uncrew the factory sensor, wipe up any oil that spills and thread in the new sensor. Make sure to use teflon thead sealer on the threads for the new sensor and any adapters you use.

    Oil pump...

Just remove the stock oil pressure sensor (near the oil filter) and hook up the temporary gauge sensor there. You may need an adapter fitting depending on the size of the hole.

    Limerock time trial 1st session.

I finally found time to put together another video from the in-car camera footage from out last track day of the 2011 season. This is from the first of four 30 minute sessions we ran that day. Rain soaked the track overnight and in the morning. When the day started the track was wet and...

How much can I expect from my v6

Buying a used supercharger is almost always a headache in the end. Most people dont realize that the brackets alone usually sell for almost $1,000. If even just a few things are missing the "savings" from buying used disappears pretty quick. This is a big problem for us as an install shop...

blower or stroker that is the question

BAsed on your curret heads, intake and cam, you will make a lot more power by adding a Vortech superharger than you will by adding some displacement. You can make big power either way, but a 500 hp vortech supercharged car (done right) has a lot nicer street manners and is much more practical...

    Brake Upgrade for 09' GT

All the hard stopping is done by the front brakes. The with stickier tires and better front brakes you can stop even harder which transfers even more weight to the front (and off of the back) which means the the fronts can do even more and the back brakes can do even LESS or else they will lock...

How much can I expect from my v6

It depends how you use it, how abusive you are annd what kind of tire you run. I've had plenty of customers run 3.73swith a supercharger on the 7.5 without breaking. Most of them were automatics though, which tends to put less of a shock on the differential. If you want to race with slicks...

    suspension endlinks

The factory endlinks on the '04 are quite good. There is no need to replace them. If the bushings are worn out I suggest replacing them with these: Polyurethane Swaybar Endlink Bushing (1)
