Hey guys, another ques. I can't seem to find in the manual how to fix a slow blinking turn signal. It does mention a relay of some sort. BUt doesn't mention slow blinking. Is that it and if so where can I find it in auto and what does it look like? Signals are so slow(Yaaaaaaawwwwwnnn).

I tested fuel sender yesterday,(as my gas gauge stopped working)So I left key in ignition over night. So I basically killed the battery. Jumped it, started right up. Hmm. The multi meter has about 6 spots for the dial to go ranging from 20 to 500. I tested it on 20. What should I be testing it on? I believe there are 2 positions under 20, but they don't have #'s assigned to them, only symbols. Thanx again guys.

Hey guys. I just tested battery w/ a multimeter. BAttery has 12.1 volts when car off. and about 13.8 with car running for 10 min. or so. Is this normal? Or should it be higher when on? Thanx BAttery was installed 4/09 on a 68 289 coupe stang.

10-4 on the parts Raider...I am bringing car to shop on Tues. to make sure I am keeping her. Battery died today, charged her up and coolant came out of overflow after about 15 min. So that might be the last draw. Too much going wrong at one time. If I keep her I'll call you.

Yes Pony, The choke plate opens up when warm. Car ran great yesterday. I did the nail trick. I grounded it to the gas tank. needle went right up. Weird cause the sender is brand new. What company do u reccomend for a new sender?

Hey Ponyboy, First off the car runs great. Thanx again. The other gauges do work(speedometer, heat, oil pressure.) I am unclear what you mean to check in the back. When I pull out sender wire, do I just let it hang? I put a nail in the place where wire came out? What gets grounded? thanx Paul

Hey Guys, My fuel gauge stopped working on my 68 289 stang coupe. The sender is new, gas tank new. I did add an inline fuel filter between the tank and the fuel pump. I have a full tank of gas. It moves about a millimeter up. Any hints on what to do? thanx.

Ponyboy, 5th digit of vin is c. Stang is automatic. Stock 289. Symptoms of car is--She stalls. I hit the carb w/hammer to free stuck float as gas was coming up. That worked, but car still stalls now w/out giving her gas. Stalls in idle drive.
