What about just using a high temp gasket sealant. On my g35 there was a small hole in the pipe where the hanger attached. I used RTV sealant and never had another issue.

You may have to say so long to your rear window. When I was going to remove the tint on my rear window the easiest way was to just get a new window. You are most likely going to mess up the defroster when taking off the tint.

Don't they just screw off like any other door lock button?
