    A weighted shift knob could help, but by nature the shifter will be stiffer than stock. How is the shift into reverse?

    Untrue, I had Kensuns in my 2000 GT and they lasted for years. No issues.

    That's expensive. Noticed that each H13 bulb has a heat extractor fan? Interesting... Kensun has a pair of normal 6000K HIDs with slim ballasts for $45 on Amazon.com.

    The MT82 transmission is a flawed unit. It is NOTORIOUS for missed shifts and weird operation. Try shifting at different RPMs and partial throttle and see if 3rd is easier to reach. There are alternatives with short throw shifters, but it will not fix the main issue. You can go MGW and Barton...
