i had an 86 turbo coupe that would out run the gt mustangs at the time but i had an adjustable waste gate and intercooler on it wish i still had it. Get an oil accumulator turbo still spins when you shut down the engine but has no oil pressure oil accumulator will make your turbo last longer.

If he has the pro cal tune tool that comes with the frpp cai package dont think he can data log but i could be wrong. The wrench came on because the car stalled not because it threw a code. If you paid to have them put the cai on to get the 30k warranty make them make it right it's what you paid...

if you swap out the caliper spend a few bucks more and get new hardware and sliders makes the swap so much easier and will work better just did this on my mountaineer,
