Just completed that install on my cobra and I hit the plug right there. well it did not pop up and what a PITA it was to get out. I am going to put up a small how to install with a bunch of pic's for others that are doing it.

give it a shot and see but watch for the belt dust on the hood. I know my buddie has a 2.76 with a 2lb lower and he will see about 16psi for the first 5-7 hard pulls and then it drops to about 14psi and stays there for the rest of the belts life. His belt is tight too, real tight.

Where the pointer whith the larger belt? If it is in the middle or looser it will slip.

There is a pointer on the tensioner and on the mounting bracket so to say for the tensioner there is a little weird shaped indicator that looks like it gets bigger. when you get a chance just look at it, it is obvious when your looking for it.

Were you tring to install it with the AUX pulley in place? If so take that off, then slide the belt then put the idler back on. The other trick I do not recommend but alot of guys do is to knock the stop off the tensioner so you can pull it a bit further to get a tighter belt on. You want the...

I did alot of research on the lines over the tank and the Walbro pumps are real good at drawing fuel so that should not be an issue. Did nto know about the firewall thing though. Not moving it because then I have to fix the holes. Oh well.

Whats a ball park price do to polish the intkae and snout of my KB blower? The intake is off the blower but the snout is still on. The intake is already smoothed out but the blower will need to be striped, smothed and polished?

You are going to run the Cobra fuel hat and 2 pumps correct? If so then yes the wiring is different.
