For sale is a 1964 Ford Fairlane. It is a 2dr post style, same as the Thunderbolt. It has a 289 .30over w/ C-4 transmission w/ shift kit. The body and frame are in great shape, but car needs full restoration. I also have a 9" rear I will let go with the car. Asking $4000 or b/o. PM me for pics.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I am in the same boat as you and was considering adding a kit to my 99 Cobra. Any thoughts on hitting the 4v motor with spray? Is there much difference in what I should been looking for in a kit vs. a 2v motor? It seems that most kits fir the 2v/4v are universal.

Never put on a dyno. No nitrous or supercharger right now. My best pass at this point was 13.2 @ 103mph on street tires. Very basic mods(cold air, cat back exhaust, mild tune). Pass was made on street tires babyin it out of the hole. Still trying to get used to the car and the IRS. I'm hoping...

I'm lookin for a 12 sec 1/4 mile this summer. I am not concerned about gas milage. The car still has the stock gears at this time.

I have a '99 Cobra, and am looking to install some gears. I am looking for suggestions on what ratio I should be looking for. The car is mostly stock with basic bolt-ons and will not be getting any sort of poweradder anytime soon. Any help would be appreciated.

Just wanted to say hello. I just got back into the game after parting w/ my 88GT several years ago. I am now the owner of a 99 Cobra. Not many mods as of yet, but will be working on it.
