he's right.. the ford racing mufflers sound pretty good, but dif from the flows. i had ford race on my 4 litter and it sounded almost like an 8, ppl would look under the back to see what kind of mufflers. you really have to hear different ones in person though hard to tell from clips btw if...

nope, I do everything, just make sure you keep all you receipts, especially oil & filter. you can also log all your maintenance on the ford website. then if you ever bring your car in for something it shows up on their system same as if the dealer did it, it'll just say "owner performed"...

you don't have to on an '87+.. should be the same on yours. i changed the one on my '88 cause it was cracked, if you're just repainting why don't you do it on the car
