I wouldn't try it for oxidazation, although it probably would its kinda chancy. What I would do for oxidazation on aluminum wheels is get some Degreaser and "Never-Dull." Can get this stuff at pep-boys I think or autozone. All you have to do is this: 1. Clean rim (dont miss anything) 2. Cover...

I used to detail lambos, ferraris, bentlys for a part time job with that stuff. Gotta clean it off right after, use it one wheel at a time for sure. The rule is that if it has its clear coat on it, it'll be fine unless there a crack in it then your screwed. Definately try not to get that stuff...
