Rte 28 was just starting to clean up and this morning the nysdot was spreading salt on the inch and a half of snow that fell ! It will be a miracle if the roads are clean by Apr 19th !- grn hornet

Carlisle All Ford Nationals
Last year I stayed at the Park Inn where NYM had a block of rooms, it was nice and not far from the field. I plan to go down Fri. morning as I did last year and stay two nites. Locally ,we appear to have entered that time of the season when the highway dept.s run low on road sand and start to mix what I call "pea gravel" into the sand / salt stock that remains . Carlisle All Ford Nationals
Last year was my first trip to Carlisle. The tent was a great place to meet up with NYM members throughout the day. The hotel was nice and had a good restaurant on site. It was really nice to see all those mustangs parked in front of the bloc of rooms !- grn hornet
