jjz---eww i don't know. Scarsdale Ford is a shady place. I used to work there LOONG time ago. And if the are still owned by the same people they are shady as F$*K!
While the person who builds these systems said he charger $250 for the install and its takes hime about 2,5-3 hours to install it. However his shop is in Tampa... Wish i knew someone reasonable around here who can look at the system and tell me a number!
Yeah i contacted them, but they cant give me a hard number on the cost of the install. Which leads me to believe its going to be a lot. JDM engineering quoted $1800 just install the fuel system PLUS the fuel system cost. Rip offs...
Do we have any FORD or just a GOOD Performance repair shop in Westchester, NY? I Or Mechanics on our site that can help! need help installing my new fuel system.
Hi all! Have any of you even installed a Nitrous system? thinking about running a small 50 shot ot top of the blower to get some cool air and maybe more TQ in mid range and that cool juice purge and WoW effect when someone look with one eye at my car! lol
yes under the seat. If i just replace stock pump with another stock pump, it will work for some time. but most likely sooner or later will happen again as BAP pretty much abuses the pump especially on E85 where more volume is required all the time. So i thats why i'm thinking of getting a return...
BTW guys i called JDM and asked how much they charge for FS install. They said it's about $1800 JUST for the Fuel System install PLUS the cost of whatever fuel system. Thats RAPE!
Hmm I kind of like these new vettes. A big point for me is their interior as i always thought and still think that C6 looks good on the outside but inside looks like a sub $20k minivan. Finally they have corrected that issue! and as far as centi blowers, ofcourse you can just swap the pulley...
I don't really feel like trading the car in for another 5.0. if i trade it in it would be for a shelby or vette or used porsche or something else... I just don't see a reason of trading my car for another 5.0 and essentially stay at the same level. I would do it for higher level car or do nothing.
I have a paxton, i do run E85 with ID1000's and VMP BAP. Out stock pumps are E compatible so the E is not the gold coil of the problem. The problem here is the BAP which makes the pump work harder especially on E since you need more E to deliver energy when compared to gasoline. Thats why on E...
stock pump.. well 1) I dont hear it priming when the cars key is in ON position. 2) All of my fuses are good. 3)Few other people had the same issue with boosted cars on E85 with BAP connected to stock pump.
