You have to drill out the plastic rivets on top of the bumper under the hood. As for the bolts that hold the bumper to the fenders; you have to remove the front wheels then remove the plastic inner fender liners and you'll see the 5 nuts on the inside of each fender and the bumper should slide...

that wheel bearing is shot. and the worst part is that its a press in bearing and we all know how much those suck ass

all i have to say is i put a cobra IRS in my 85 fox body and drilling all the 1/2 inch holes was the biggest pain in the ass. considering you have to drop the gas tank to do that. other than that it should be straight forward. and also you have to remove all the bump stops and brackets...

anything 1996 and newer needs to be hooked up to the computer for inspection. i am a licensed NYS vehicle inspector. as for the motor swap to a carbureted engine from a monitored engine i think u have to go to the dmv and have it re registered as an older vehicle or get a special registration...
