    What is this ?

Random Guess, it almost looks like something pcv related? I'm assuming the shouldered area is rubber. It does not aappear to be anything related to a toploader. BTW Out of curiosity what are the tag numbers off of the toploader you bought?

    Gotta replace a 1965 C4 automatic 3spd

I use and sell new repo parts, for years. Personally I try to use good original parts whenever possible. I'd start with a good rebuildable original unit and replace parts as needed, that said I don't know what engine you have? But I'm pretty sure an Fmx wouldn't work for you. If you decide to look...

    Question about fox doors

Yes, they interchange no problem assuming they are both from hardtops without T -tops. I'm drawing a blank on T-Top production. I don't recall the last year of them on a fox I know they were offered at least through 1987.

So I'm curious if Santa brought any vintage Ford or Mustang stuff ( parts, tools, memorabilia, etc.) to any of you early guys. I recieved: A couple of tools I needed. A copy of the Donald Farr 50th Anniversary Book (It looks like a pretty good read so far) I'm a huge Mustang literature...

As A bargain hunter, and long time early Mustang guy. I would advise you to not stop looking locally. If you have the free time it never hurts to look at cars.Trust me it's a free education. As you look at the same year cars you'll start to see trends( where they go bad, good options, price...

    looking at classic 60's mustangs

Hi, To be honest when looking at classic Mustangs IMO The number one thing to be concerned about is rot, whether it's present, hidden, or was improperly repaired in the past. Once I have a decent foundation, then I worry about the smaller details. The newer fuel isn't great with these older...

First electrical issues now a Carb leak....!!

Hello and welcome, I must have missed the electric issues? That said carb leaks can be pretty common especially if the car sits and I've noticed that my carb rebuilds don't seem to last as long as they used to. I believe that can be attributed to the new gas. First step towards...
