  • Hey Tom, thanks for the advice, I've got a Steeda separator. Don't know how much boost it's making yet, maybe 7 psi, but it's nonintercooled so I can't turn it up too high. I'm guessing I'll make just shy of 400 hp but we'll see.
4.10 gears, Kooks headers and an intercooler is next on my list, maybe September, but I'll never see 575 hp like you--that's pretty sick man. I hope I get to see it some time in person.
    Thanks again, James

    Hi, Tom.

I got it from Koerner Ford. Been doing business there for years. Ben Raymond is my salesman there.

I have family down in Lafayette, Tully, Fabius and Cortland. I photograph for my cousin's collegiate summer league baseball team in Cortland. That team starts playing in June through July. I'll be in Cortland for about 10 games over the season.

You are not far from the Wolf Mountain Nature Center. Ever been there?

Went through their videos and they don't say much about their car. Others they dyno'd had several mods plus the 93 Octane Tune to get the added 75HP at the wheel.

They have sold at dealers around the US for 10-20k plus over sticker. My dealership has sold a few at over 10K.
It turns out that the Stock 2016 Mustang GT Automatic is quicker in the 1/4 mile than the stock 2016 Mustang GT Standard shift !

I am pretty sure that all same model cars are quicker in auto than manual. It is almost impossible to shift quicker than an automatic transmission. And the 60 ft. will be better 9 times out of 10.

The Standard shift cars hit the rev-limiter a lot (shift too late) in 2nd and 3rd in the videos for the 1/4 mile, not good for the ET
JDM Engineering said with a few bolt on parts and a tune they got 449rwhp on the 2016 Mustang GT and 11.9sec. 1/4 mile et.
Stock 2016 Mustang GT manual trans. about 380rwhp on dyno.- Stock 2016 Mustang GT350 about 480rwhp on dyno. Stock 2015 Roush Mustang Stage 3 dyno test at Ray Skillman Ford came out 27hp over advertised@ 697fwhp 606rwhp. Stock 2015 Roush Mustang Stage 3- 1/4 mile run on YouTube 10.47sec@132mph on street tires !

I took a test drive yesterday in a 2016 Mustang GT performance package, it was Black so you know it was a fast one, went up through the gears a few times(it wants to speed), it doesn't have that scary fast feel or that sound of my 4.6 Supercharged 06, but it is reeeal fast, great suspension, and the Brembo Brakes can stop the car on a dime. The seats are great, it has a lot of nice new features, and some of the things I added to mine in ten years. All in all it's a great car and well worth the $40k IMO

The mustang has to be one of the best bang for you buck cars on the road right now. You can get a fully loaded, performance pack GT for about $40k. Thats 425 HP, leather seats, premium sound, and navigation. Not many cars offer that much for such a reasonable price. A comparable BMW would be $60k - $80k.

The 2016 Mustang GT pp seems to be lower than the reg GT or the tires are taller, less fender gap, 435HP 3.73 gears line lock, wider tires in the rear. Nice !
