Ok got a new problem! About a month ago my speedometer was reading 20mph over whatever speed I was doing. Even with the car shut off & the keys out she was registering 20mph. Next day she was fine. This Sunday, coming back from a show at Dana Ford I had NO speedometer! Both times the RPM...
After 10 days the Mustang finally passed! Turns out NYS changed the codes! Called Bama & they told me that there is no update for the Tune & suggested taking the cold air in take off & put the stock filter back on & tune it back to "stock". Dealership did just that & BOOM - passed...
I'm having the same problem with my 05! The FORD Dealership has had the car now over a week & still can't find out what's wrong! I put on over 1200 miles & then they decided THEY should do the driving! They drove it 2 days & still "NOT READY"! Finally last Thursday they said there was a...
I know what you are going through! I'm still having a problem getting my 05 Mustang to pass inspection! After about 1500 miles she was still reading "NOT READY"! So finally they updated the software & got her codes to read, but the engine light came on & now it's the master airflow sensor...
I have my own Tune, but it's only tuned for the cold-air intake's 91 octane. It's not the tune that's the problem. It's the OBD reader that's saying, "not ready". :(
LOL - hope that's not the case! If something is wrong I want it fixed now not a year from now! Still think it's the computer, but dealership is pushing for special driving! ;)
UGH - sucks! My son tuned her back to stock & then re-tuned her for the higher octane & now driving 100+ to see if she'll pass. May have to get the 10 day extension. 11 years - no problem with inspection! Thank you everyone. I'll keep you posted.
Went back today with additional over 900 miles & still won't pass inspection! My son tuned it back to stock & then re-tuned it for the cold air in-take. Have to drive it 150 miles & hopefully it will pass. If not - they may have to keep it over night & check out my computer. :(
