the factory gaskets generally dont go bad for no reason, ford uses metal gaskets. its pry a warped manifold with broken studs or a cracked manifold. you shouldnt need to remove the k member. thats just so you have room to fit long tubes in.
as far as i know all gt's had limited slip differentials. you can upgrade to the carbon fiber clutches that i put in my car or ive put oem ones in for people with the thickest shims to make them grab harder. sure they'll wear out a little quicker but if its not something you drive everyday youll...
well if your car sounds like a diesel then you need a motor. if its an exhaust leak thats worse under load and you drive it in the winter its pry a cracked exhaust manifold or broken studs. it could be detenation but i doubt itd be doing that on a factory tune unless you got some very very bad...
your saying oil press drops at idle? does it just do it when its hot or when its cold to? id hook up a mech guage before anything. if you really are loosing oil press then you got more problems. even if its very short time no oil press will do a number on bearings.
i believe a rearend overhaul pays like 6hrs labor. thats with setting the gears and replacing all the seals. not sure what just the pinion bearing runs. pry atleast 3hrs labor
just get the smoked head lights off ebay. mine are dark with clear corners. 100$ and look great, just gotta seal them. as far as tail lights theres ones that are spray tinted and look 100x better. american muscle is selling tinted ones now too that are pretty close to the factory design.
well i was looking at blower cams and all the companies i talked to said either their stage 3 cams would hit or a few said they werent sure if thered be a interference problem. i guess i must not of talked to cushman. well good luck hopefully the new cam will be ok.
