First time at the track with this car (first time at a track in general in close to 10 years....and first time driving a RWD car on a track), best time was 13.0 @ 111. Best 60' that day was a 2.0 but on a different pass....I think I bogged that launch.
If it's your daily driver, then yeah, that's probably your best option. I'm lucky enough that I don't drive the Stang too often during the winter so I can deal with the clunkiness before the trans warms up.
I have the Barton shift bracket and shift knob and it cured a lock out issue from 2-3 at high rpm. Keeps the shifter box and and linkage more aligned to the trans when shifting. I posted back in April of last year when I installed it.

Re: Carlisle 2012
I'm staying at the Hotel Carlisle, but will make a trip over for a bit on Friday night for the festivities. The back of the Hotel Carlisle was pretty entertaining last year with the Focus kids.
Re: Carlisle 2012
I'm registered and booked as well. I was there last year but ended up hanging out with the Marauder guys since two of my good friends were with them. Is there a dedicated spot for NYM this year? I'll make it a point to come by and say hi.
re: 3rd Annual Mustang Show from American Muscle - *Postponed*
I'm gonna try to crash at a friend's in South Jersey the night before, but if I don't, I'd be more than glad to roll down with ya.
Crap....wish I would have checked here before I left. I was right around that area!!! I think I was in R138 with the 2008 and up GT - stock. It was my first time at Carlisle so I was wandering around a lot anyway, but was trying to figure out where section "Z" was! Oh well...there's always...
That's not carbon fiber. You can see the seams where the intake is welded together. It's that carbon fiber "look" stuff....looks like the intake was wrapped in it. Same with the valve covers. Either way, it's clean as hell.
