    First time at the track with this car (first time at a track in general in close to 10 years....and first time driving a RWD car on a track), best time was 13.0 @ 111. Best 60' that day was a 2.0 but on a different pass....I think I bogged that launch.

    Mustang shift issues

    If it's your daily driver, then yeah, that's probably your best option. I'm lucky enough that I don't drive the Stang too often during the winter so I can deal with the clunkiness before the trans warms up.

    I have the Barton shift bracket and shift knob and it cured a lock out issue from 2-3 at high rpm. Keeps the shifter box and and linkage more aligned to the trans when shifting. I posted back in April of last year when I installed it. If you read the MT82 thread on allfordmustangs.com...

    That's not carbon fiber. You can see the seams where the intake is welded together. It's that carbon fiber "look" stuff....looks like the intake was wrapped in it. Same with the valve covers. Either way, it's clean as hell.
