Ok i`m gonna buy stuff for the car now.

Spark plugs,
Air filter ( best one, sport whatever.. K&N or whichever is best )
Muffler ( Mike ;) )
Oil filter and oil.


WHat is the best website to purchase these things ? I heard american muscle is a little expensive... but i did a little research and the prices are ~ the same.

And at the same time...

what sparkplugs should i buy ? Bosch ?
Mufler i understood from mike that i should get a flowmaster.

And what kind of oil do i need to get for the stang ? V6 auto.

Dude are you serious? There is a tech section for this.. But to your answer your questions..


Dont bother with the plugs.. Your motor is 100k maintenence free

Get a K&N Drop in filter (Reuseable so you dont keep dropping dough on a new one)

Get your oil changed at a mechanic.. Use Mobil 1 synthetic.. It lasts longer.. Dont buy FRAM oil filters.. The element in the filter sucks..

If anyone tells you Amsoil Oil dont bother.. You have a 200hp V6 not a 1500hp turbocharged V8. Save your money.

And I would go with Borla everytime for a muffler.. Best sounding IMHO

i did research but what better place is there to get this info than YOU GUYS who actually own mustangs ???? what would be the point of a forum if you could do everything yourself... come on...


Got it. K&N Drop-in Filter. As for the muffler, it can wait i have to save up my money as much as possible... Oil, Mobil 1 Synthetic. Easy enough :D.

You don't even trust the kid enough to loosesen one bolt, empty old oil, unscrew old filter, screw in new filter, replace drain bolt and refill?.

Anyone who orders wipers online and brags about the price I don't trust to add washer fluid to their car.

they're windshield wipers and not capable of being amazing, they just squeegee water off the window.

Amazing and awesome are just way overused these days. Landing on the moon is awesome and amazing, new wipers are just....eh

Wipers???? those long things on the windshield of a mustang??? Mine will rot and fall off before I buy a pair, never use them.

As for the oil, do it yourself dude. If you are spending money, go get a haynes or a chiltons manual, it tells you how to do everything from simple to difficult.
