New Product: Ford Racing Track Cal for the 2013-2014 Mustang GT

Ford Racing Performance Parts announced today a new performance calibration for the 2013-2014 Mustang GT with the manual transmission called ‘Track Cal. Similar to the TracKey available for the Boss 302, Track Cal provides is a software upgrade to the PCM and includes hundreds of calibration parameter changes similar to the ones used in the Boss 302S and Boss 302R race cars. Some of the features include a driver-adjustable launch control system, driver-adjustable pit lane speed control, a lopey idle, and increased horsepower (16 bhp) and torque (7 lb-ft) using 93 octane.

Additional changes to:

• Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (TiVCT)
• Engine braking
• Ignition timing
• Wide-Open Throttle fueling
• Accelerator pedal map
• Idle speed
• Throttle response

Unlike TracKey, however, Track Cal does not come with a new key and is installed using one of Ford Racing’s Pro-Cal flash tools. Track Cal is 50 state legal and is available at Ford Racing retailers. Suggested price is listed at $559.00.

Well now I know if I ever get a current 5.0 it'll be a '13 or a '14. Looks like a pretty awesome setup.

This package is a nice Ford Racing bang for the buck, MOD. Still the gains could be larger with different cold air induction as well. The K&N filter drop in, is the cost effective piece.
