Now with S197 we have 6 and 8 cylinder engines. Mustang 3 may have 4,6,8 cylinder options. A 300 plus ECO BOOST MUSTANG , might bring in more interest on the new mustang. Ford once had MUSTANG "SVO". This could be a Mustang reality once more, as a vehicle option .

The original SVO had a turbo 2.3L which was actually quicker than the 5.0 if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure Ford will already be introducing an EcoBoost 4-cyl for the 2015 model but it still remains a mystery as to how much power it will put out. So the difference would be a turbo 4-cyl versus a V8 which is what SVT and Shelby have always used.
