Ha! My car is a lowly base model with exactly ZERO options. It is literally the cheapest new 5.0 that a person can buy.

To that, I waited until there was $3,750 in rebates. Everything said and done, there are new V6 Stangs that cost MORE than my 5.0.

Sure a V6 can be more expensive than a 5.0 GT. Actually, it's pretty darn easy to do. You just need to check Ford's website.

Actually, I was quite pleased with my 11 V6. With 305hp it ran with pre-2011 V8's, getting me ~20 mpg city. If it wasn't for mega rebates on the 2012 cars, I'd still have it.

I can get the car to shine really nicely when you look at it across the top, but not so well looking down the side. Do you think its just the color?

It seems to me that I/S needs a lot of light to really stand out, and that's why it looks better from the top (reflecting the sky) than it does from the side (reflecting ???).
