Hi AlloyGT07,

I have a question about the Tuner. I have a 06 GT with a K&N cold air intake. It was already installed when I bought it. My question is, should I buy a Tuner? Would it help my performance?

Absolutely. Unless you're doing serious mods, in which case u prolly want to do a full dyno custom tune$$, get the SCT with preloaded tunes for your car. Really easy to work with and relatively inexpensive.

I wuz gona Have a shop n kentucky do a tune for me after the gears. Shld i do that or buy 1 myself? My buddy said they lose their tune after a while?

You don't just lose a tune. You or someone else would have to alter it in order for that to happen, or if you happen to have Ford do a reflash. Otherwise once you get a car Dyno Tuned or if you use a handheld tuner, that tune stays there.
