Cecil county Track Rental May 13th 2011-official Thread

Im not suprised by the lack of sign ups due to this horrible winter but we need 20 spots filled by March 1st to gaurantee our day...we only have 5 right now...please pass along the word and post it on other sites. I have modfords and svtp covered...also svtsnake.

well, that track is 6 hours away for us in upstate.

its worth the trip, ask anyone who attended the one last April.....sad part is if by March 1st if we dont have the minimum 20 cars signed up then i will be refunding peoples payments and calling off the rental.

I cant believe how poor this whole track rental thing is going....no one on ANY sites are signing up....we only have til March 1st to get it to the minimum and if that fails the rental is off sad to say....i understand its been a horrible winter weather wise but it wont be snowing in May.

I would love to go, but I just don't have the means to get the car there (a haul truck)
Otherwise I would sign up. Hope you get enough people to make it happen, I have heard it is a great track

Nick...if we do Atco do you want to keep your 3 spots...I think we are going to go that route. Minimum is 10 spots and we would have 6 booked already if you stay on board...4 spots shouldnt be too hard to get...15 spots is the max.

lol all in fun Jay...You might have a problem running your car with out a cage,i heard they are strict with the tech now..Back in the day when i had my vert i was running low 11's high 10's with no cage no loop nothing shit they didn't even tech the car

I know nick that's what I'm kind of worried about, either way ill be there and so will my vert. We r going to do up a full bbq and everything like the good old days, If I can't run myself and my fiance will run the bbq part of it, but I plan on running and letting the fiance and some of the other ladies can do the bbq stuff, I gotta see what this beast is capable of, I got a few more mods to add, then a re-tune at MM in april hoping to b around 650 by rental time

As long as you can put the power down Jay you should go deep in the 10's my car was only putting down 627 and that was my first time racing the vert...Cool on the BBQ to,let me know whats up i will bring some shit

Im gonna do my best to let her fly, Im hoping to have it trailered so i dont have to clench my ass cheeks when i launch, that was my biggest prob at Cecil, rolling her(old black vert) out gently it went 11.50 like as if i were on the street....little less worry and ill have her in the 10's no prob. and she's alot lighter than the black car
