I just came back from my english professors house. I went to check out that mustang that I told you about. The pictures are uploading as I'm typing and will be posted really soon.
I don`t have space/money for a project but maybe somebody here wants it.
The car is in good shape considering that it is a 24 year old car with everything stock. IT has not been started in 2 years. The battery was drained and when I tried to boost him, there was a little smoke coming from a wire ( I have absolutely 0 knowledge about electrics and have no clue what that means ). He said the car started and ran good before the battery went out.
Transmission, as he says, was slipping gears. It is a 3.8 v6 i believe.
Exterior is in good shape ( obviously paint isn't ). The line of the car is still good and straight, no dents or scratches, but will definitely need repainted. And it has flaws, obviously.
The top is newer, didn`t know when it was installed, but it has a cut on the drivers side, rear about 1 foot long. Does not leak. Rest of the top is in great shape.
Interior. I was suprised to see such a good interior. The passenger seat is ripped ( leather seats ). Driver's seat also worn, not as bad though. Back seats are in great shape ( in picture, it`s no there but he has it in his garage ).
Dashboard, knobs, shifter, steering wheel. EVERYTHING is in mint condition and CLEAN.
All windows are there not cracked or anthing. He told me that everything worked on the car, windows, convertible engine was working, heat worked, AC NEEDED RECHARGE BUT WORKED.
It had buttons on the steering wheel but I didn`t read them and don`t know what they do ( im guessing cruise control and stuff).
Door panels were in really good shape.
What else.... rims and tires were in PERFECT condition with fairly new tires on them.
The car was in alot better shape than I expected from what he described to me.
The car is for sale, needs a little restoration, not complete as I thought. it has 160,000 miles. Automatic transmission, that needs to be rebuilt.
Anyway, he wants the car sold and he wants to hear offers. I will be his "messenger" and communicate him any offers that he might get.

**Edit: I forgot to talk about rust. I didn`t see any "cancer" i did see some surface rost here and there, plus a bigger spot on the trunk ( you can see it in the pictures ). Under the car, i couldn`t get under it, his driveway is grass and I couldn`t lift the car. I did take some pictures and came out pretty good so we`ll see
