FRPP Aluminator $6100 delivered from Tousley, dust free RedFire trailered to my buddies place with a lift, BilletFlow Stock size 3.65 upper showed up today along with a 3.40 and a 3.10 for later, new tune with 5* timing pulled and 0.5 richer (11.6) AFR fuel map ready for break in.
Dreaming of running down the track after waiting and saving for 2 years..... priceless.
The plan is to lower boost from 18+ to 10-11lbs, NO MORE 2.83 but still have a 6lb lower, then slow the car down further thru tuning, street tires and using the two step like a throttle stop, maybe even with ballast in the back. I know most guys don't spend time figuring out how to SLOW a car down but I need to so I can index race it at 11.5 Wednesday nights to break it in 1/4 mile at a time CHEAP with a tree. Gotta launch from a tree, took all season practicing to get close to being comfortable and quick off the tree after a year off.
The 04snake won't be going back out on the street for a while, you will have to catch her at the Valley. I have a decent 12 sec naturally aspirated, well behaved, fun to drive, big hooking, stealthy, street car, with A/C, T top and big ole comfy leather seats. I don't need a head turner, cops follow me around street rod right now, I have grown to like sliding in and out of the lot without drawing much attention, well at least until I flip the cut-outs open
